Baby planet will be destroyed by its star

At Rice University, a team of astronomers, in their search for universe’s youngest planets in the universe, finally found one, but that poor thing is formed in the wrong Solar System.

This baby planet is twice the mass of Jupiter, orbiting a star which is estimated to be only 2 million years old.

It is called ‘Hot Jupiter’ and it’s located 1.100 light years away in the constellation of Orion.

‘We don’t know the ultimate fate of this planet.It likely formed farther away from the star and has migrated into a point where it’s being destroyed.‘  said study lead researcher Christopher Johns-Krull in a statement.
