The world’s largest floating solar power plant is now active in China

Due to the pollution problem that China has, Chinese authorities have done and are still making intense efforts in recent years. This ‘sun farm’ can be a perfect solution to solve this problem.
The Chinese government has already confirmed the completion of the largest solar power plant on the planet, among the aquatic ones.
The 40 megawatt heliocentre is located above a flooded mining town in Anhui. Sungrow Power Supply Company also manages to cool the area by creating this huge project. The depth of water in the Anhui area varies between 4 and 10 meters, and due to the fact that there is often rain, the portion will always be flooded.
China hopes to increase the use of non-fossil fuels by at least 20%, which would make this country a global force in renewable energy.
