Scientists say the solar system is only 10 light years away from us and it has an asteroid belt.

Astronomers have noticed the new solar system using NASA’s SOFIA aircraft, a Boeing 747 equipped with a high-tech telescope, Science Daily said.
It has plenty of resemblances to our solar system and, in addition, has one fifth of its age, which means it is a model for us to understand the time of the solar system in which we are.

The star of the new solar system is called Epsilon Eridani.

A recent study published in The Astronomical Journal confirmed the theory of Massimo Marengo, a professor of physics and astronomy at Iowa State University.
The theory says that the Star hosts a planetary system that is currently passing through the same processes that took place in our solar system when it was in forming process, more precisely when most of the craters appeared on the moon.
Marengo and other astronomers have been studying this planetary system since 2004, and in a document written in 2009, they claimed to have found separate asteroid ‘stories’, similar to those present in our solar system.
