It’s Not Too Late To Save the World. A New Study Says
Progress in the fight against climate change is unstoppable, but it needs to accelerate.
A new report in Nature Geoscience reveals the world can actually be saved if we act quickly. Paris agreement is able to reach not just 2°C (3.6°F) warming limit, but 1.5°C (2.7°F) and it’s the best we can do for the moment on global scale.
Back in 2015 the speed of the greenhouse gas (GHG) cuts required to meet the 1.5°C target were “incompatible with democracy”. says Professor Michael Grubb at University College London.
The lower limit is perfectly within reach and the amount of carbon dioxide required to alter the global temperature is getting lower. Professor Grubb is also one of the co-authors of the study and he is monitoring every country’s plan in the combat against climate change.
Our planet will have more time to fight the climate crisis and if everything goes at planned, the global temperature will grow only by 1.5°C.

Is good to know that Paris agreement is just one step for stopping the global warming and even the planet is getting warmer day by day, scientists truly hope to find a new way to make a good change happen. If there will be no mistake, the world will come back to its normal by 2050.
